SARTHI is a newly formed Non-Profit government company for research, policy advocacy, training etc. for socio-economic and education development of Target Group communities in Maharashtra State. The thrust areas of our organisation include research, policy advocacy to government, skill development training etc. and guidance to rural population, particularly the farmers whose livelihood is dependent on agriculture. Skill Development Cell of SARTHI aims at conducting skills development training for employment, self-employment, entrepreneurship, establishing and developing industrial and agricultural units. SARTHI conducts Skill Development Programs for the youth from the target group in Maharashtra State through Industries and Training Service Providers of high repute. The key focus areas of the program include; • Skill Development Training for Employment through aspirational courses for youth with assured placements, decent wages and a good career progression • Skill Development Training for Self-employment and entrepreneurship through programs that provide end to end support for setting up new enterprises • Courses in newly emerging sectors with high demand for skilled workforce • Special focus on skill development of women and youth from disadvantaged communities
